Kathryn (Whatley) Loper
   Kathryn Whatley Loper, of Fairfield, Texas, passed away on June 28, 2005 at 
Fairfield. She was 78 years old.
   Mrs. Loper was born on September 2, 1926 in Fairfield and was a real estate
developer.
   Services for Ms. Loper were held on Thursday, June 30, 2005 at Capps Memorial
Chapel of Fairfield with Rev. Marvin Clark and Bro. Mack Roller officiating. 
Interment was at Woodland Cemetery.
   Ms. Loper is survived by her son Russ Loper of Fairfield, Texas; her daughter
Cindy Emmons of Fairfield, Texas; her grandchildren: Lauri Cherry, Susan Scott,
Bodie Emmons, Corey Emmons, Clay Emmons, and Russell Loper, Jr., her great-
grandchildren Raegan Emmons and Raymie Emmons.
   Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
