  Mr. Will Lott and wife had the misfortune to lose their little babe last 
Saturday night, the 17th inst.

  A little babe of Mr. Will Lott, living on Dr. Sneed's farm south of town, died
last Saturday. Mr. Lott himself has been dangerously ill, but is reported as
improving.

Obituary
  Once more the grim monster of death [has] taken one [of] our little band. 
Little Arthur Lowry, infant son of W.J. and Alice Lott, living near Fairfield,
died after eight days of intense suffering and his little spirit winged its way 
into the eternal realms of glory where there is no sickness, sorrow or death. ...
