The Bryan - College Station Eagle January 3, 2004 Lloyd Wayne Lowrey March 19, 1930 — Dec. 31, 2003 CENTERVILLE — Memorial services for Lloyd Wayne Lowrey, 73, of Centerville are set for 2 p.m. Sunday at Corinth Baptist Church in Dew. The Rev. Carl Clark will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Walters Funeral Home in Centerville. Mr. Lowrey died Wednesday in Crockett. He was born in Belton and lived in Centerville 15 years. He served 14 years in the U.S. Air Force and worked as an air-traffic controller at Houston’s Bush Intercontinental Airport 15 years. He was a Baptist. Survivors include his wife, Anna Lowrey of Centerville; a son, Ed Lowrey of Leadville, Colo.; three daughters, Monte Ashley of Centerville, Diann Long of Spring and Nicki Viars of Houston; a brother and sister-in-law, Donald and Carol Lowrey of Houston; a sister, Judy Gaston of New Caney; four granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and numerous nieces and nephews.
