TWILA SUE BASS LYLES

Services were held Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Fairfield for Twila Sue 
Bass Lyles, 75, of Fairfield who died Sunday.

Interment followed at Stewards Mill Cemetery in Stewards Mill.

Mrs. Lyles was born May 19, 1935 in Old London to Sue and Cullen Bass.

Throughout her life, she checked groceries, worked for a lawyer, Frizzell 
Pontiac, The Fairfield Recorder, the county and retired from the city.

Her favorite job was housekeeping and trying to keep up with her grandchildren.

Mrs. Lyles was preceded in death by her parents; infant son James Cullen Lyles;
husband of nearly 50 years, Cecil Eugene Lyles; and many aunts and uncles.

She is survived by sons Ronald Gene Lyles and wife Andrea, Charles Dwayne Lyles
and wife Shelly; granddaughters Laurie Lynn Lyles- Gonzalez and husband Luis 
and Rebecca Ann Lyles; grandson Cullen Warner Lyles; greatgrandchildren Alyssa,
Thomas and Eric Gonzalez; brother Larry Wynn Bass and wife Kathy; nephews
Jason and Eric Bass and wives Donnita and Shannon; great nieces Lauren Amelia,
Katily, Madily, and Ainsly; her church family, and many friends.

Pallbearers were Ray Barber, Joe Lee Kirgan III, Randy Mitchell, Harold Massey,
Keith Whitaker, and Charlie Ritchey.

Honorary pallbearers were Joe Lee Kirgan Jr., Willie Ward, Malcolm Wood, and 
Kenneth Tidrow.

Making arrangements was Griffin-Rougton Funeral Home of Fairfield.
