FUNERAL SERVICES HERE LAST THURSDAY FOR WILL MAGNESS

  Funeral services for Will Magness, 80, lifelong resident of Wortham, were held
Thrusday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the First Methodist Church, of which he was
a member.
  He was married June 11, 1905, to Mary Etta Robinson of Mexia.
  The Rev. Roy Davis, Methodist minister from Corsicana, conducted the rites, 
assisted by Rev. Jack Bell of Wortham.
  Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Mary Etta Robinson, a son, J. T. Magness, of 
Corsicana; two daughters, Mrs. Jack Johnson, Wortham, and Mrs. George Smith, 
Mexia; 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and other relatives. Another 
daughter, Mrs. Doyle Michael, preceded him in death in 1958.
  The grandsons acted as pallbearers. They were Larry Smith, Jimmie Smith, J.D.
Michael, Donnie Michael, Gaylon Michael, and Lloyd Baldwin.
  Walker Funeral Home was in charge.
