Deceased Name: JAMES MAGOUIRK SERVICES TODAY

Services for James Edward Magouirk of Bridge City, in Orange County, retired 
vice president of the trust department of RepublicBank Dallas, will be at 10 
a.m. Wednesday in St. Paul Methodist Church in Bridge City. Burial will be in
Wortham, in Freestone County.

Magouirk died Sunday in Orange Memorial Hospital, Orange County.

He was born in Keechi Community, Leon County, and was a graduate of John Brown
University in Siloman Springs, Ark.

He worked in the business administration office of John Brown University for 25
years before joining RepublicBank. He retired from the bank in 1974 as vice 
president of the trust department.

He is survived by his wife, Edna Nesmith Magouirk of Bridge City; three 
daughters, Carol Monk and Louise Coleman, both of Duncanville, and Joyce Rangd
of Elkhart, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Carolyn Precht of Bridge City; a stepson, 
Carl Wilson of Dallas; 11 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
