Mexia Daily News- Jun. 22, 2004 edition Victoria Majors Funeral services for Mrs. Victoria Majors, 79, will be held Saturday at noon in Moore's Angelic Funeral Home Chapel-Teague. The Rev. A.L. Thibodeaux, pastor of Fairfield Missionary Baptist Church, and the Rev. Cleo High, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church-Mexia, will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery-Groesbeck. Mrs. Majors, born Jan. 15, 1925, in Teague, died this past Saturday in Parkview Regional Hospital. She resided at Haven Nursing Home, was reared in the Salem community and attended public school there. She was baptized in the Salem Church. Mrs. Majors had been employed by Spunky's Cafe-Mexia and at Mexia State School, where she later became a Foster Grandparent. Surviving are two brothers, Ruzy Hall and Wilford (W.J.) Johnson; a stepson, William Majors; and four sisters, Culita Micheaux, Daisy Lee Micheaux, Dossie Jackson and Gloria Jackson. Pallbearers are Cecil Hall, Claudell Hall, Terry Hall, Wilford Johnson, Larry Micheaux, Donald Ray Micheaux, V.J. Jackson and Ronnie Micheaux.
