Rosemary “Dolly” Manahan, 76, of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, April 4, 2006.
Services will be 2 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Chapel in Fairfield with the
Rev. Joe Granberry and the Rev. Buddy Turner officiating. Interment will follow
at Fairfield Cemetery.

Rosemary Manahan

Funeral services were held for Rosemary "Dolly" Manahan Friday at
Griffin-Roughton Chapel in Fairfield. Rev. Joe Granberry and Rev. Buddy Turner
officiated and interment followed at Fairfield Cemetery in Fairfield.

Mrs. Manahan, a resident of Fairfield, died April 4 at the age of 76. She was
born to Alan and Vida Laird in Young Community in Freestone county. She was
very family oriented.

Mrs. Manahan was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Harry Manahan;
daughter Denise Manahan; grandson Yates Manahan; two sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Cam and Deb Manahan of
Fairfield; daughter and son-in-law Lynda and Monty Posey of Rockwall; sister
Janie Nemec of Huntsville; grandchildren Justin Manahan and wife Leslie,
Garrett Manahan, Misty Hughes and husband Jason, Brooke Holder, Kenzy Posey,
Nicholas Posey and wife Amanda, Steven Posey, Joy Posey and great grandchildren
Jayci, Jaylin and Jordyn.

Pallbearers were Justin Manahan, Garrett Manahan, Jason Hughes, Steven Posey,
G. L. Thomas and Kevin Lunsford.

Arrangements were by Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield.

Rosemary "Dolly" Manahan 76 of Fairfield, passed away April 4, 2006 in
Mesquite. She was born October 6, 1929 in Young Community in Freestone County
to Alan Laird and Vida Granberry Laird. She worked as at telephone operator for
G.T.E. She was very family oriented. 

Visitation will be Thursday April 6, 2006 from 6pm to 8:30pm at
Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 pm Friday April 7, 2006 at
Griffin-Roughton Chapel with Rev. Joe Granberry and Rev. Buddy Turner
officiating. Burial will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. Pallbearers are Justin
Manahan, Garrett Manahan, Jason Hughes, Steven Posey, G.L. Thomas and Kevin
Lunsford.
