Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Teague Chronicle 01/14/2010 BENNY MANDEVILLE Memorial services for Mr. Benny Mandeville will be held on Friday, January 15, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Teague. Rev. Jeff Powers will officiate. Benny was born in Teague on April 20, 1943. He graduated from Mexia High School but lived most of his life in Houston. He was married for twenty-nine years to Carolyn Jones, was a Methodist and worked as a machinist for many years. He enjoyed collecting and restoring guns. He passed away on Friday, January 8, 2010, at Scott & White Hospital in Temple. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Mandeville of Mexia; his son Jeff Mandeville and wife Kara of the Austin area; his daughter Stephanie Ridley and husband Dave of Mexia; his stepsons Kelly Long and wife Maggie and Chad Lee Long of Teague; his grandchildren and great grandchildren; his sister Billie Rose Borzik and husband Jerry of Mexia. Mr. Mandeville was preceded in death by his son Paul Mandeville; his mother Nell Dean Hearn; his father Bill Mandeville and his step-father Leonard Hearn. Bowers Funeral Home of Teague is in charge of the arrangements.
