The Fairfield Recorder - 6 Mar 1891 issue

Died - Mrs. Emma Manndeville, wife of Prof. D.A. Manndeville, near Luna died on 
the 4th inst. after an illness of about one month. The deceased was formerly 
Miss Emily Prather and came to Freestone county with her husband from Wilcox 
County, Alabama. She was about 30 years old and a member of the Baptist Church. 
She leaves to feel her loss a husband and four children, the youngest about a 
month old. Her remains were interred yesterday evening in the Fairfield 
Cemetery, Rev. E.J.Brown officiating.

We regret to chronicle the death of Mrs. D.A. Manderville, wife of Prof. 
Manderville, who died on the night of the 3rd inst. Her remains were carried to 
Fairfield for internment.
