Currie C. Manning

Quiet hour will be held for Currie C. Manning, 59, of Fairfield from 7 to 8
p.m. Wednesday at Fairfield Funeral Home. Inurnment will be private. 

Mr. Manning died July 11, 1998, at Sunrise Healthcare after a long illness. 

Born Nov. 27, 1938, in Corsicana, Texas, he lived in Fairfield for 10 years. He
worked as a service station attendant at Firestone in Fairfield for 20 years
and served in the U.S. Army. 

Mr. Manning is survived by his daughters, Edith, Mamie and Denise, all of
Texas; sisters, Mollie Moy of Texas and Mary Frances Graham of Suisun;
brothers, Mason of San Francisco, Stancil of Fairfield, and Lindsay and Drudie,
both of Texas; one great-granddaughter; many nieces and nephews.
