Stancil Manning, Sr.

A funeral for Stancil Manning, Sr., 76, of Fairfield will be held 11 a.m.
Monday in Solano Valley Mortuary. 

Pastor Rich Stonestreet will officiate. Burial will be in Fairfield-Suisun
Cemetery. 

Mr. Manning died March 18, 2001, in NorthBay Medical Center after a long
illness. 

Born Dec. 22, 1924, in Richland, Texas, he lived in Fairfield for 20 years. He
was in the U.S. Army and served during WWII. 

Mr. Manning is survived by his wife, Alice of Fairfield; sons, Stancil Jr.;
sisters, Mollie Moye of Corsicana, Texas and Mary Graham of Suisun; brother and
sister-in-law, Drudy and Lindsay of Corsicana, Texas; seven grandchildren and
one great-grandchild. 

A visitation will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday in Solano Valley Mortuary.
