DEATH OF AGED LADY

Mrs. Rachel L. Manns, aged 72 years, died at the home of her son R. E. Manns,
in Teague, at 1:40 o'clock A.M. on Thursday of last week of acute indigestion.
Funeral services were conducted by Revs. James F. Carter and McFauley of 
Cotton Gin and interment was made in Oak Island Cemetery, west of Cotton Gin.

She is survived by a sister Mrs. L. N. Riddle, Cotton Gin; one brother Houston
Lee of San Antonio, the only close relative who was unable to attend the 
funeral; six children, Will Manns, Cason, Texas; Sam Manns, Miles, Texas;
George Manns, Galveston, Texas; T.E. and L.P. Manns of Teague.

She made her home near Cotton Gin for many years and was a member of First
Methodist Church of Teague.
