Freestone County, Texas Obituaries The Fairfield Recorder - May 20, 2007 edition Bonnie Jean (Rucker) Manuel Graveside services were held Wednesday, May 9 at Driver Cemetery for Bonnie Manuel, 72, formerly of Fairfield, who died Saturday, May 5. Mrs. Manuel was born December 1, 1934 in Gatesville to Flavel Elmo and Lottie Jewel (Fielding) Rucker. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Fairfield. Services were conducted at Driver Cemetery, with Kerns Porter officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Banks, Alvin Cartwright, Bobby Brown, Marvin Brown, Kerns Porter and John Simmons. Mrs. Manuel is survived by a daughter, Cynthia Banks of Rowlett; a grandson, Michael Banks of Rowlett; a step-daughter, Shirley Noland; a granddaughter, Geneva Noland; sisters Alice Cartwright of Teague, Evelyn Henderson of Los Angeles and Shirley Hunter of Oklahoma; and a brother, Flavel Lee Rucker of Mesquite. She was preceded in death by her husband, William (Billy) Manuel; and her sister, Faye Woodard. She is survived by her daughter Cynthia Banks of Rowlett, her grandson Michael Banks of Rowlett, her stepdaughter Shirley Noland and granddaughter Geneva Noland, her sisters Alice Cartwright of Teague, Evelyn Henderson of Louisiana, Shirley Hunter of Oklahoma and her brother Flavel Lee Rucker of Mesquite. Mrs. Manuel was preceded in death by her husband William (Billy) Manuel, her parents, and her sister Faye Woodard. Pallbearers for Mrs. Manuel were Michael Banks, Alvin Cartwright, Bobby Brown, Marvin Brown, Kerns Porter and John Simmons. Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield was in charge of the arrangements.
