Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder December 03, 2007 Velma Marie (Campbell) Jackson Marberry Funeral services were held Monday for Velma Marie Jackson Marberry, 72, of Fairfield, who died Nov. 24. Services were led by Rev. Don Suits II at Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield. Mrs. Marberry was born Nov. 29, 1934 in Falls county. Survivors include son Scott Jackson of Butler, sisters Margaret Visage of Longview, Ola Jean Kitchens of Temple, Yvonne Drummond of Rockdale, and Lillie Ann Hudman of Tatum; special niece Elaine Birdwell of Oklahoma, special friend Robert Marberry of Fairfield; Stepchildren Bob Marberry of Houston, Steve Marberry of Longview, Allan Marberry of Longview, Lynn Utsey of Fairfield and Paul Marberry of Wylie. Mrs. Marberry was preceded in death by her husband W.C. “Bill” Jackson, parents Walter and Minnie (Cureton) Campbell, son James William Jackson and sister Pat Bennett. Burial was at Lake Chapel Cemetery. Pallbearers were Jerry Hudman, Wayne Birdwell, Steve Marberry, Lee Lavergen, Dewayne Milligan and Del Waters.
