Ruth Green Martin, 98, of Corsicana passed away Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, at Wortham 
Nursing Center in Wortham.

Visitation will be held from noon to 8 p.m. Friday at M.R. Smith Parlor for 
Funerals.

Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Second Mission Baptist Church with Pastor
Larry Polk officiating and the Rev. Troy Eastland of First Missionary Baptist
Church in Coolidge as eulogist. Interment will follow at Woodland Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin was born Nov. 27, 1907, in Streetman.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Jep Martin Sr.; and son, Jep “Jeff” 
Martin Jr.

Survivors include one grandson, Jerry Wayne Martin of Fort Worth; granddaughters,
Crystal Martin and Mary Martin of Los Angeles, Calif.; nieces, Vernell Hatten of 
Corsicana, Ruth Thomas of Dallas and Willena Hudson of Mexia; special great-niece
and caretaker, Vernell Cornish Evans of Coolidge; and many other relatives and 
friends.

Arrangements by M.R. Smith Parlor for Funerals.
