Dannie Lanier Martin

Funeral services were held last Thursday for Fairfield native Dannie Lanier 
Martin, 38, who died last week in Dallas.

Mr. Martin was born July 14, 1947, in Fairfield and died Tuesday, May 6.  He 
lived in Red Oak and was a wallpaper hanger.

Services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Capps Memorial Chapel with the Rev. 
Glen Sivils officiating and the Rev. Buddy Turner assisting.

Special music provided by Sarah Franklin included "How Great Thou Art" and "More
 Than Conquerors".
 
Burial was at Fairfield Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Tom Anderson, Bruce Childs, David Childs, Roger Young, Dale
Barker and Philip Barker.

Mr. Martin is survived by his wife, Luanne Martin of Red Oak; three daughters,
Missy, Wendy, and Kelly, all of Red Oak; a son, Danny of Red Oak; his father,
Dewey Martin of Dallas; three sister[s], Jo Anna Sivils of Duncanville, Pamela 
Martin of Houston and Nancy Rogers of Red Oak; and a brother, James D. Martin of
Red Oak.

Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
