Vera S. Maxfield

Vera S. Maxfield died Monday in Richardson. She was born October 4, 1919 in
Buffalo.

Mrs. Maxfield was especially proud of all the accomplishments of her
granddaughters. She will be remembered for her interest in many things
including literature, poetry and church music.

Funeral services were held Tuesday at Memorial Funeral Home-Buffalo in Buffalo.
Mrs. Maxfield was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, John F.
Maxfield and her sister Delma Smith.

She is survived by her son Robert F. Maxfield; daughter-in-law Kathy;
granddaughters Alison and Breana and granddog Lucy.

She is also survived by her sisters Velma Gordon and Adell Stripling and
husband Allen; nieces Janet Stripling, Mary Calloway and husband Mike, Ruth
Holland and husband Rick; her great nephew and numerous great nieces and great
great nieces.

The family gives a special thanks to the staff at the Gardens of Richardson and
the ICU staff at Richardson Regional Hospital.

Arrangements were by Memorial Funeral Home in Buffalo.
