Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Waco Tribune newspaper August 22, 2009 Ginna Janelle (White) Maynard Ginna White Maynard, 42, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 18, 2009 at a Waco nursing facility. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 23, at Cade Cemetery in Freestone County, Texas. Friends and family are invited to attend visitation 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 22 at Wade Funeral Home in Hubbard. Ginna Janelle was born in Austin, Texas, to Joe and Virginia White. She lived most of her life in Waco where she attended Connally High School. Ginna lived a colorful life and left her friends and family with many memories. She was a country girl who loved her Texas heritage and the cowboy life. She worked hard, lived hard, and played hard. She loved traveling, fishing, horses, and her dogs. At the end of her life, Ginna bravely faced the horrible disease of ALS (Lou Gehrig's disease) and chose to die the same way she chose to live; on her own terms. She will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Ginna is survived by her daughter, Meagan Kuykendall and husband, John; granddaughters, Allanah and Katy Kuykendall, of Hubbard; her mother, Virginia White, of Waco; her brother, Jay White and wife, Sally, of Brenham; nieces and nephews, Heather and Whitney White, and Katie, Chris and Jessie Rue; aunt, Sarah Chandler; cousins, Ronnie Chandler, Lyle and Brenda Chandler and Ted and Dru Glazener; a large, extended family on her father's side in both Indiana and Kentucky; and sisters from her birth family, Betty Thibodeaux, of Thorndale, and Michelle Swatloski, from Georgetown. Pallbearers are Buck Uptmore, Jerry Brunson, Ted Glazener, Everett Casper, Larry Graham and Lyle Chandler. Honorary pallbearers are Ronnie Chandler and Ricky Pierce.
