Jewell Marie York Mayo

Services for Jewel Mayo, 95, of Fairfield, will be held at 2 p.m. today at Capps 
Memorial Chapel with John Simmons officiating. Burial will be in Shanks Cemetery 
in Simsboro.

Mrs. Mayo died Thursday, Mar. 30, 2002, at East Texas Medical Center, Fairfield.

She was a hospital sitter and a member of Fairfield Church of Christ.

Mrs. Mayo was preceded in death by her husband, Normey Mayo of Fairfield; her 
parents, John Manus York and Eralee Lemons of Henderson; several brothers and 
sisters.

She is survived by daughters, Norma Eldridge of Graham, Doris Blocker of Odessa, 
Moselle Brown of Tyler and Dorothy Faye Garber of Fairfield; brother, Albert 
York of Fairfield; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-
great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be H.J. Cannon, Albert Bonner, Thomas Doyle Cannon, Buck Bonner, 
Jodie Bonner and Joel Andrew Bonner.
