Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Mexia Daily News - Apr. 7, 2005 edition Kenneth "Yoat" McAdams TEAGUE - Funeral services for Kenneth "Yoat" McAdams, 71, of Teague, will be held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock in Blair-Stubbs Chapel-Teague. The Rev. Jack Comer will officiate. Burial will be in Dew Cemetery. Mr. McAdams, who died Tuesday in East Texas Medical Center-Fairfield, was born July 20, 1933 in Pyburn community, near Teague. He was a lifelong resident of Freestone County and was a carpenter. Mr. McAdams, a member of Boggy Lodge 739 and Cotton Gin Masonic Lodge, served for 20 years in the U.S. Air Force, pulling two tours of duty in Vietnam - 1963-1964 and in 1969-1970. He was preceded in death by his parents, Grady and Maurine McAdams; and by three brothers, Henry (Bo) McAdams, Horace Lee McAdams and Gerald (Tiny) McAdams. Surviving are his wife, Hiroko McAdams of Teague; two sons , Kenneth N. McAdams, Jr., of Eureka Springs, Arkansas, and Paul McAdams and wife Nancy of Richmond, Tx.; two daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Tom Lipinczyk of San Diego, California, Penney and Robert Eubanks of Teague; six grandchildren - Amanda McAdams, Jordon McAdams, Natasha McAdams, Derick Lipinczyk, Robert Eubanks, Jr., and Morgan Eubanks; two sisters, Charlotte Carter of Lanely and Louise (Myrt) Barton of Dew, and a brother, William G. McAdams of Simsboro. Masons will serve as pallbearers. Designated as honorary pallbearers are W.C. Glazner, Donald Hartley, Dale McCeig, Bob Clary, Sonny Sessions, Don Hall, Harvey Kerney Lane, Charley White, Donny Turner, Bill Turner and Wayland Oakes. Family visitation is scheduled for this evening from 6 until 8 o'clock at Blair-Stubbs of Teague.
