Doris O. (Shows) McAdams

Doris McAdams, 89, of Fairfield, passed away Sunday, February 16, 2014 in 
Fairfield. No services are scheduled at this time. Mrs. McAdams was born June 12, 
1924 near Silsbee, TX; to parents Thomas E. and Jenny Phelps Shows. She had been 
a resident of Freestone County since 1971.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Michael Shows. 
Left to cherish her memory is her husband Archie of Fairfield; four children, 
Sherry Knight, Terry McAdams, Kevin McAdams, Cindy Self, all of Fairfield; twelve 
grandchildren, Tony Moye, Troy Wilkerson, Tina Davis, Keith Bailey, Samuel 
McAdams, Benjamin McAdams, Jonathan McAdams, Wayne Self, Chisum Smith, Christian 
McAdams, Brandy Self, Kenny Self.
