SAMMIE JO MCBAY


Mrs. Sammie Jo McBay, of Mexia, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2007, at
Mexia’s Manor Healthcare Residence, Inc. She was 86 years old.

Humanistic funeral services (without any reference to religion) were held on 
Saturday, September 22, 2007, at Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home Chapel in Teague, 
Texas. Interment will be at the North Mexia Cemetery Addition of the Mexia
Cemetery.

Mrs. McBay was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Robert Burnett 
McBay in April of 2006, her parents and her grandmother.

Survivors include her son Robert B. McBay, II and his wife Shirley and grandson
Robert B. McBay, III, all of Closter, New Jersey, her devoted sister-in-law Mrs.
Willie McBay Benton of Mexia, a number of nephews, cousins and other relatives 
and friends.

Pallbearers were Ronald McBay, Jacob Miles, John Williams, John D. Jackson, Jr.,
Mr. John D. Jackson, II, and Leonard Dancer.

Moore’s Angelic Funeral Home of Teague is serving the McBay family.
