Dew Locals - October 21, 1901
  Mrs. J. C. McCarty died yesterday of dropsy of the heart. She had been in bad
health for some time, but not to say confined to her bed only a few days. Mrs.
McCarty was a good Christian lady, a member of the Baptist church. She leaves to
mourn her death an aged husband and one son and some other relatives. Mrs. McCarty 
will be buried at Sunshine today.  ROB ROY

  Mr. J. C. McCarty has gone back to Georgia. All of his people live there, and
he preferred living with them to staying in Texas.
