Verlan Louise (Baucom) McCleary

Verlan Louise McCleary, 77, of Fairfield passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2001,
at East Texas Medical Center in Fairfield.

Graveside services were 10:30 a.m. today at Fairfield Cemetery with the Rev. Ed
Ridge, pastor of Round Prairie Baptist Church, officiating.

She was born Jan. 31, 1924 in Navarro County. She was a member of First Baptist
Church of Carrollton.

She is survived by her sons, Jeff Bennett McCleary Jr. of Woodville, Robert
Glen McCleary of Carrollton and Dennis Leon McCleary of Fallbrook, Calif.;
brothers, James Baucom of Dallas, Kenneth Baucom of Odessa and Hershel Baucom
of Payne Springs; sister, Dorothy Clemmons of Scurry; six grandchildren and 10
great-grandchildren.
