Jesse McCord

Services for Jesse McCord will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church
of Wortham. Arrangements are under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel of 
Fairfield.

Mr. McCord died Monday in Waco.

Jesse Don McCord

Funeral services were held last week for Jesse Don McCord, 21, of Kirvin who died 
Monday, June 16, in Waco.

Mr. McCord was born in Corsicana on March 12, 1987 to Clovie and Barbara McCord.
Services were held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 19, at the First Baptist Church of 
Wortham with Wyatt Tisdale officiating.

Burial followed at Woodland Cemetery where Kris Harrup, Joseph Mullenax, Michael 
Smith, Kyle Collins, Trey Buchmeyer and Kyle Calame served as pallbearers.
Honorary pallbearer was Keith Ryno.

Mr. McCord is survived by parents Clovie and Barbara McCord; brother Micah McCord; 
sister Shelby McCord, all of Kirvin; grandparents Shade and Corky McCord of Kirvin, 
Jim and Wanda Jones of Mount Calm, and Howell and June Tabor of Kathleen, Georgia; 
aunts and uncles Todd and Tina Mabile of Mount Calm, Shade McCord and Tammy 
McCord, both of Kirvin, Greg Pope of Danville, Georgia; Henry and Sharon Thompson 
of Jeffersonville, Georgia, Terry Draper and Shawn Draper, both of BonAire, Georgia; 
Tony and Lynn Theus of Kathleen, Georgia, and Anthony Pope of Minnesota; cousins 
Erin, Heather and Bobby Holden of Hannah, Timmy, Amanda, Amy, Christy, Jennifer, 
Cassie, Kelley, Taylor, Ashley and P.J., all of Georgia; great uncle Daber McCord of 
Brazoria; girlfriend, Kadie Miller of Mexia; and best friend Kyle Calame of Wortham.
Arrangements were made by Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield.
