Billie Jack McCormick - Fairfield

Billie Jack McCormick, 89, a resident of Fairfield passed away on December 19, 
2009 at Fairfield Nursing and Rehab.  He was born on June 23, 1920 in Kirvin to 
Joe McCormick and Sally Shoemake McCormick.  He served his country during World 
War II in the United States Army Air Corp and retired from the United States 
Post Office in 1983.  He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, 
two sisters, and his wife Adelle McCormick in 2007.

He is survived by his step-daughter in Colorado and a step-son in Arizona, and 
a number of step-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Sunday afternoon from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. at Griffin - 
Roughton Funeral Home in Fairfield.  Graveside services will be held on Monday, 
December 21, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin with Bro. 
Floyd Petersen officiating.
