Freestone County, Texas Obituaries Fairfield Recorder newspaper June 18, 2009 Adolphus McIlveen Funeral services were held last week for Adolphus McIlveen, 84, who died Sunday, June 7, at Haven Nursing Home in Mexia after a brief illness. Mr. McIlveen was born in Teague and raised in Dallas where he attended J.B. Starr Elementary. He later moved to Houston and was employed by Southern Linen Service from which he retired after 30 years of service. Services were held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, at Moore's Angelic Funeral Chapel in Teague with Rev. Clifford McIlveen officiating. Disposition will be by cremation at Waco Cemetery. Mr. McIlveen is survived by his son, Bobby McIlveen and Ann Riopelle of Sugar Land; grandchildren, Bobby, Josh, and Mariah Wilson, and Christine, Tim and Holly Riopelle, and Sean Long; sister, Alma Rinley of Dallas; great- grandchildren, Devin and Nicholas Riopelle, and Joshua Wilson, Jr.; special friend, Mrs. Coqueze Williams of Houston; and his caretakers, Mrs. Barbara Martin and Mrs. Patrice Williams, all of Mexia. Funeral arrangements were made under the direction of Moore's Angelic Funeral Home in Teague.
