The Teague Chronicle - Oct. 25, 1918 edition Died at Donie On Sat. morning, Oct. 19, our community was shocked by the death of Jim McIntyre, one of the most beloved young men. He was a consistent Christian and practiced his beliefs. He was a member of the Baptist church and was ready at all times to help support the calls of Christ. Jim was twenty years old and was expected to be drafted into the service of the government soon and was anxious to serve his country in person. He was an orphan boy and by his model life had won a place in every heart with whom he came in contact and by the death our community has lost one of the most youthful citizens.
