Billie Sherrell Richardson McLain

Billie Sherrell Richardson McLain, 58, of Kirvin, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2004,
at East Texas Medical Center in Tyler. She was a nurse at Wortham Nursing
Center, and a member of Kirvin Baptist Church. Mrs. McLain was born June 4,
1945, in Fort Worth.

Funeral services will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock in First Baptist
Church of Wortham. The Rev. James Huffstetler will officiate. Burial will be in
Woodland Cemetery, near Kirvin. Capps Memorial Chapel of Fairfield is in charge
of arrangements.

Mrs. McLain was preceded in death by her father, Sherrod Richardson; by a
daughter, Amy Susan McLain, and by a grandson, Clynton Cook.

Surviving are her husband, Carl McLain; her mother, Maurine Hardaway of Fort
Worth; two daughters, Rhonda Reece and Tammi Cook, both of Wortham; two sons,
Dennis Kirk McLain of Kirvin and Christopher Wesley McLain of Fort Worth; a
sister, Bettie Pounds of Fort Worth, and 11 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Clovie Don McCord, Shade McCord, Corky McCord, PeeWee Carter,
Christopher McLain and Kalam McLain.
