Monte Clayton "Clay" Cole

Monte Clayton "Clay" Cole, 32, of Fairfield passed away Wednesday, Feb. 28,
2001 in Fairfield. 

Services will be 3 p.m. Sunday at First Baptist Church in Fairfield with the
Rev. Mack Roller, the Rev. Mark Woodard and David Phillis officiating.
Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Billy Barlow, Matt Chamberlin, John Gallegos, Fred Hill,
Reed Jackson, Dewayne Letney, Chris Lynch, Marc Raymond, Eddie Shultz and
Johnny Ward. Honorary pallbearers will be the Fairfield High School Class of
1986. 

Mr. Cole was born June 12, 1968 in San Antonio. He was the owner of Big Cedar
Country Club. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fairfield. 

He is survived by his wife, Karla Lacey Cole; daughter, Lauren Lacey Cole; son,
Cooper Clayton Cole; parents, Monte and Janice Simms Cole, all of Fairfield;
brothers, Josh Cole of Fairfield and Mark Cole of Greensboro, N.C.; and sister,
Caren Graves of McKinney.
