JOHN F. MELTON DIES IN MEXIA
John F. MELTON, 78, old time resident of Freestone County and for the last
few years a citizen of Mexia, died at his home of that city last Monday.
His remains were interned at Wortham. Mr. MELTON is survived by his wife.
He was an Confederate Veteran, well known in this section and had many
friends.
