Oretha Murphy Middleton

Oretha Murphy Middleton, 91, of Richardson, Texas, went to be with her Lord 
Sunday, April 6, 2008. Graveside services will be Tuesday, April 8, 2008 at 
2:00 p.m. at Wortham Cemetery with Reverend Steven Schulte officiating. Family
visitation will be Monday 6 to 8 p.m. at Porter Chapel Wortham.

Oretha was born August 6, 1916 in Streetman, Texas. She will be greatly missed 
by all who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, 2 brothers and a son.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years, J.B. Middleton; daughters & 
son-in-laws, Sandra Clemmons, Dianne & Ed Fletcher, and Carol & Henry Vick; 7 
Grandchildren, Shelli, Gerard, Scott, Edie, Eric, Greg and Ginger; 5 Great 
Grandchildren, April, Nathan, Erica, Austin and Madison; brothers, Don Murphy 
and Travis Murphy; sisters, Atrelle White and Alexia Faulkner and many nieces 
and nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers Memorial contributions may be made to Susan G. Komen Breast
Cancer Foundation in honor of her granddaughter Shelli, her littlest angel.
