Freestone County, Texas Obituaries [Source: Linda Mullen] Fairfield Recorder - March 12, 1915 edition Death of Mrs. A. T. Miles Mrs. A. T. Miles died at the family residence in Fairfield Sunday night, March 7th, after a period of illness extending over several months. Funeral services were held by Bro. Brown at the family residence the following day, after which the body was conveyed to the Day cemetery, about 11 miles east of Fairfield, where it was interred in the presence of a large number of sorrowing relatives and friends. Mrs. Miles was a daughter of Mr. Wm. Day, who was an old pioneer citizen of the county, and she was reared in this county. She leaves to mourn her death a husband and three sons, Edgar, Jim and Albert, and numerous other relatives. Mrs. Day was loved by all who knew her, and her passing awat is deplored by a large circle of sorrowing friends.
