Harris Wilson Milner

Harris Wilson Milner,90, passed away peacefully February 11, 2014 in his home 
with his family by his side. He was born May 31, 1923 to Paul and Ila Harris 
Milner in Streetman, Texas.

Harris was a veteran of World War II serving in the United States Navy. He 
served in New Zealand, Australia, India, New Guinea, and in the South Pacific.

Harris is survived by his wife of 63 years, Nell Livingston Milner; children, 
Sue and John Satagaj and Brian Milner and Stephanie Elkins; and grandchildren, 
Julie Satagaj, Brian Satagaj and Craig Milner.

Harris was a loving son, husband, father and grandfather. He will be lovingly 
remembered and greatly missed.

Visitation was from 5 pm - 7 pm at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home, Fairfield. 
Graveside services were at 2 pm Friday, February 14, 2014 at Birdston Cemetery 
with Hoppy McGilvery officiating. Honorary Pallbearers were Brian Satagaj, Craig 
Milner, Grady Foree, Mackie Robinson, Mike Jennings, Brent Magness, Thorton 
Zimmerian, Tommy Bonner and Mark DeFrance.
