103-Year-Old Mexia Woman Dies Thursday 

  Mrs. Nancy Mims, 103, of 1211 East Carthage Street, Mexia, died Thursday in 
General Mexia Hospital. 
  Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday in Salvation Lighthouse Church 
of God in Christ, Mexia. 
  The Rev. E.L. Baptist will officiate and burial will be in Grove Island 
Cemetery in Freestone County. 
  Mrs. Mims was born on Jan. 1, 1870, in Thornton. She lived most of her life in 
Limestone County and was a member of the Church of God in Christ. 
  Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hosella Mims and Mrs. Hazel Evans, both of 
Mexia; three step-sons, Fred Mims, Clay Mims and Huge Mims, 19 grandchildren; 54 
great- grandchildren and eight great- great-grandchildren. 
  Dorsey-Keatts Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
