Wiley Dalton "Sonny" Minchew

Wiley Dalton "Sonny" Minchew, 64, of Wortham passed away Thursday, Jan. 20,
2002 at his residence.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Cemetery in Kirvin with
the Rev. Terry Skinner and the Rev. Brian Pendleton officiating.

Mr. Minchew was born Feb. 25, 1937 in Fairfield. He was an equipment operator
for Freestone County, Precinct 4. He was a member of Kirvin Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William LeRoy Minchew and Ruby Alice
Rosser Minchew.

Survivors include his wife, Gloria Minchew of Wortham; daughters, Debra Wills
and Pamala Larson of Teague and Sherry Bonner of Fairfield; stepdaughter, Debbi
Cochran of Oklahoma City, Okla.; stepsons, Daniel Lunsford of Maitland, Fla.
and David Lunsford of Colorado Springs, Colo.; numerous grandchildren;
brothers, Curtis Dean Minchew of Mart, Aubrey Ross Minchew of Bellmead and John
Edwin Minchew of Mexia; and sisters, Willie Belle Greening of California, Edna
Marie Smith of Duncanville, Margie Lee Brown, Mary Alice Teer and Sybil Anne
Smith, all of Fairfield.
