"DIED
At her residence, near Tehuacana Hills, March 19th, 1886, Mrs. Emma Mitchell,
wife of Mr. Samuel Mitchell, formerly of this county.  The deceased was a 
daughter of Mr. George A. Sims, near Cotton Gin, and was about 28 years old.
She leaves besides a husband and other relatives three children to mourn
her sad loss.  She was a member of the Cumberland Presbyterian church, and
her remains were brought to this county and interred in the Cotton Gin 
cemetery.  Mrs. Mitchell was a good christian lady; she knew she was going to
die, but death had no fear for her, for she had a hope that extended beyond
the grave."
