Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Monday, July 22, at Emken-Linton Funeral Home with Rev. Ron Dixon officiating. Burial will follow at Grace Memorial Park Cemetery in Hitchcock. Visitation will be 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home Mrs. Moore was born October 5, 1924 in Fairfield, Texas. She was a homemaker. Her parents, Delbert and Matalee Ivy, brothers L. D. Ivy and Lonnie Frank Ivy, and daughter Mary Elaine Norgan preceded her in death. Survivors include her husband of 53 years, James Alton Moore, Sr.; four children: James A. Moore, Jr. and wife, Tammy, Billy Frank Moore, Sr. and wife, Connie, Barbara Grace Clark and husband, Paul, and Everett Lynn Moore and wife, Tina; grandchildren: Carrie Watson and husband, Mickey, Jennifer Moore, Michel Bullard and husband Jacob, Billy Moore Jr. and wife Toni, John A. Moore, Drew Holbrook, Jr. and wife, Ramona, Tracy Ward, Becky Ward, James A. Moore, III, Crystal Brittain, and Misty Brittain; great-grandchildren: Tanner Watson, Jacob Bullard, Jr., Nicolas Moore, Desiree' Moore, Jeffrey Prescott, Dustry Moore, Issac Brittain, and Jacob McCormick; sisters Edna Lee Wright and Lola Faye Puryear of Lubbock; brother D. A. Ivy of Texas City; numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Billy Moore, Jr., John Moore, Drew Holbrook, Jr., Jacob Bullard, Mickey Watson, and James A. Moore III. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or the First Baptist Church of Texas City.
