Deceased Name: Armond DeVite "Viking" Moore

FORT WORTH - Armond DeVite "Viking" Moore, an assistant manager for Minyard 
Food Stores, died Thursday at a Fort Worth hospital. He was 31.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Church at Philadelphia.

Burial will be in Skyvue Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gregory W. Spencer
Funeral Directors.

Mr. Moore was born in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident.He was a 1980 
graduate of O.D. Wyatt High School and attended Tarrant County Junior College.

He worked for Minyard Food Stores for seven years and was a former assistant 
manager for Safeway Stores for nine years.

Survivors: Mother, Odessa Moore of Fort Worth; father and stepmother, Forrest 
and Dorothy Moore of Fort Worth; two brothers, Forrest D. Moore and Eric Moore,
both of Fort Worth; three sisters, Nedra Moore Jones, Carmen Newton and Lisa 
Moore, all of Fort Worth; and grandparents, Blanche Mims of Fairfield and
Carrie Moore of Teague.
