Velma Irene Moore

Velma Irene Moore, born November 2, 1905, in Freestone County passed away 
December 26, 1982 at Memorial Hospital in Corsicana after a short illness at 
the age of 77.

Funeral services were held at Antioch Church, Fairfield, at 2:00 p.m. on 
December 28, 1982.  Bro. Donald Pruitt conducted the services, assisted by Bro. 
Richard George.  Curtis Freeman sang "Farther Along" and "How Great Thou Art". 
Bud Black was the organist.

Mrs. Moore is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Laura Mae Collins of Donie and Mrs. 
Bernice Northam of Rosenberg; two sister-in-laws, Mrs. Ruby Harris of Mexia and 
Mrs. Lucy Mullen of Fairfield.

Pallbearers were C.L. Mullen, Bowie Mullen, Clois Mullen, Deward Mullen, 
Houston Flowers, Billy Hedrick, Johnny DeFrance, Roy DeFrance, Franklin 
DeFrance and Jimmy Join, Jr.

Griffin Funeral Home of Corsicana was in charge of arrangements.
