Ruth Ellis Moore
March 23, 1930 — March 1, 2001

CENTERVILLE — Services for Ruth Ellis Moore, 70, of Centerville are set for
2:30 p.m. Sunday at Walters Funeral Home in Centerville. The Rev. Larry Ashley
of First Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in North Creek Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and from 9 a.m. to service
time on Sunday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Moore died Thursday in Fairfield.

She was born in Ninevah. She later moved to Otey and then moved back to
Centerville near her family. She was a housewife.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Jodie Moore.

Survivors nclude two sons, Jodie Ray Moore and Johnny Dale Moore, both of
Centerville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Cheryl M. Moore of Centerville and
Donna and Robert Bell of Alvin; her mother, Opal Brown of Centerville; three
brothers, Garvin Ellis of Centerville, Don Ellis of Killeen and Mitchel Ellis
of Athens; two sisters, Cecil Ellis of Las Vegas and Jean Smith of Centerville;
three grandsons; and one great-grandson.
