Funeral Services Held in Oakwood for Mrs. Moore
Mrs. Ethel F. Moore, 78, Oakwood died Sunday at 11 a.m. following a long
illness. Funeral services were held Tuesday in the Memorial Baptist Church of
Oakwood city Cemetery.

Mrs. Moore was born in Freestone county on April 9, 1893, to the late T.J.
Ferguson and Mrs. Jackie Evans Ferguson.  She lived in Oakwood most of her
life, and was the widow of William Jasper (Bill) Moore who preceded her in
death on Dec. 28, 1960.  She was a member of the Memorial Baptist Church.

Mrs. Moore was also preceded in death by her son Guy Moore on Dec. 6, 1969.
She is survived by Mrs. Guy Moore of Oakwood and five nieces and three nephews:
Lura M. Ferguson, Sybil F. Brevard, Mary F. Hurley, Myrtle F. Barrett, W.W.
Ferguson, and John R. Ferguson Jr. of Fort Worth; Imogene F. Mitchell of
Dallas; and Jack Ferguson of Kansas City, Mo.
