Dolly Moore Morgan
July 8, 1930 - May 26, 2021

Graveside services for Dolly Moore Morgan were held on Saturday, June 5, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at Dew Cemetery. Rev Richard Gillet officiated.

Dolly was born on July 8, 1930 in Dew, Texas to Emma Pearl and William Walter Moore. She graduated valedictorian of the 1948 class of Teague High School.

After graduation, she married and raised her three children in Fort Worth, Texas where she worked for many years as a manager of a ladies’ retail clothing stores.

Dolly will be greeted in heaven by her parents, eight brothers, three sisters and one son-in-law.

Her surviving family includes two daughters, Karen Ellis and Cindy Rogers;  one son, Jim Rogers; two granddaughters Ashley Ellis Thomas & husband Mark Thomas, and Elizabeth Grove; three great-grandchildren, McKenna Thomas, Madelynn Thomas and Xander Grove; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Dolly will be remembered fondly by family and friends for her quick wit and loving nature. Dolly loved playing games, spending time with her family and spoiling not only her grandchildren but also her great grandchildren as often as possible. Her caring heart and headstrong character lives on in them.
