Larry W. Morris

Larry W. Morris, 72, of Fairfield passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2001 in Tyler.
Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Capps Memorial Chapel with the
eulogy given by Bruce Earnest. 

Mr. Morris was born Feb. 5, 1929 in Hardiman County. He was retired from the
U.S. Army, having served from 1946 to 1966. He was also a prisoner of war for
two and one-half years in Korea. He was retired from the U.S. Post Office. 

Mr. Morris is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Morris; son and
daughter-in-law, Steven and Janice Morris of Austin; grandchildren, Brad, Blake
and Brett Morris of Austin; brothers, Merle Snyder of Mineola and Roy Morris of
Gun Barrel City; and sisters, Evelyn Elliott of Mesquite and Billie Mayfield of
Seagoville.
