Martin Mullen

Funeral services were held 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 29, 1977, at Antioch Baptist
Church for Martin Mullen.

Mr. Mullen, 70, was born December [*1*] 4, 1906, and died from an extended 
illness in Fairfield, Texas.

He was born in Marquez, Texas. Parents were the late William and Ida Mullen and
his wife was the late Vera Etna Huckaby.

Mr. Mullen is survived by three sons:  William Ray Mullen, Ponta, Texas; Bobby
Joe Mullen, Tucker, Georgia; Johnny Mack Mullen, Fairfield; two daughters: Mrs.
Bennie Laura Robertson, Dallas, Tex.; Mrs. John (One Beatrice) Smith, Palestine;
one brother, Clint Mullen, Fairfield; six sisters: Mrs. Iva Russell, Borger, 
Texas; Mrs. Evzella Hayes, Electra; Mr. Vera Miller, Odessa; Mrs. Billy (Oma)
Lawrence, Irving; Mrs. Hubert (Lady) Durrah, Electra; and Mrs. Laverne Finch,
Dallas. Also ten grandchildren.

Reverand Deward Mullen and Reverand D. Dewey Morgan officiated. Special music
were [sic] brought by vocalist, Jimmy Lee and organist, Mrs. Gene Orand.

Pallbearers were Claude James Anderson, Homer Paul Bonner, Will Creel, B. 
Dunbar, Joe Vaclavik and Ruel Wilson.

Interment was at Antioch Cemetery.
