Mullen Dies Suddenly of Heart Attack Mrs. Martin Mullen, 42, died suddenly of a heart attack suffered at her home at Butler early Monday morning. Funeral services were held from Antioch Church Wednesday afternoon at (3 or 5, unreadable) o'clock with the Rev. H.L. McKissack of Teague and the Rev. Mr. Burns of Jacksonville, officiating. Burial followed at Antioch Cemetery. Pallbearers were Fred Day, John Shields, Clifton Anderson, Johnnie DeFrance, Roy DeFrance, and L.C. Long. Mrs. Mullen was born August 10, 1910 [*1*], daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Hull Huckaby, in Freestone County, where she had lived all of her life. She was married to Mr. Mullen, December 23, 1925. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Bennie Laura Mullen of Fort Worth, and Oma of Butler, three sons, Bobby and Johnny of Butler, and William Ray Mullen of Houston; other relatives and friends. Ham Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
