Margie Nell Davis Mullen
  Margie Nell Davis Mullen, 85, of Frankston, Texas passed away April 25, 2013 
in Tyler, Texas.
  Visitation with the family was held at Capps Funeral Home in Fairfield from 
5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Sunday, April 28, 2013, and the funeral service at Calvary 
Baptist Church in Fairfield at 10:30 a.m. Monday, April 29th with Bro. Gaylan 
Henry officiating.
  Margie Nell was born December 31, 1927, to William Eugene and Evalena Cannon 
Davis of Fairfield, Texas. She graduated from Fairfield High School. Margie Nell 
married Deward Mullen, also of Fairfield, in 1953. Over the years, Margie Nell 
and Deward served together pastoring churches in Nacogdoches, Crockett, 
Arlington, and Frankston.
  Margie Nell was preceded in death by her parents, William Eugene and Evalena 
Cannon Davis. Margie Nell is survived by her husband of 60 years, Deward Mullen 
of Frankston; her children Jerry Davis and Margaret Mullen of Burleson, Nina and 
Randy Burgett of Arlington, Reba Bateman of Waco, Lola Hampton of Arlington, and 
Dana and GiGi Mullen of Dallas; plus 11 Grandchildren and 32 Great-grandchildren; 
3 sisters, Deloris Goldsmith of Waco, Jolene Rochelle of Hewitt and Donna Ritter 
of Fairfield; as well as a host of other close relatives and friends.
  Margie Nell was a one-of-a-kind woman who enriched the lives of others each 
and every day, as she followed her God-charted design. Her multi-faceted legacy 
will forever continue and her passion will be passed on to all who were blessed 
to know her.
