Ruby (Plunkett) Myers

Funeral services were held Friday in Fairfield for Ruby Plunkett Myers, 90, of 
Fairfield who died Wednesday, July 5 in Fairfield.

Mrs. Myers was born December 23, 1915 in Wortham to William and Elizabeth Plunkett.

Services were conducted at 11 a.m. at Capps Memorial Chapel, with Rev. Wayne 
Flowers officiating.  Burial was at Fairfield Cemetery.

Mrs. Myers is survived by her daughters, Christine Perona and husband John of 
Fairfield, Elizabeth Trappe and husband Walter of Brazoria, and Linda Bohannan 
and husband Robert of San Antonio; two sons, Jimmy Myers and wife Pat of 
Huffman and Drew Myers, Jr. and wife Graciela of Rio Tereco, Argentina; 13 
grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 12 great-great grandchildren;
A brother, Roy Plunkett of Bay City; and sisters Birdie Venable of Corsicana 
and Inez Jackson of Black Mountain, North Carolina.  She was preceded in death 
by her husband Drewfus Myers, Sr., and three grandchildren. Arrangements were 
made by Capps Memorial Chapel in Fairfield.
