Raymond Travis Myers

Services for Raymond Travis Myers, 84, of Fairfield, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at 
Round Prairie Baptist Church with the Rev. Glenn Montgomery officiating. Burial 
will follow at Lake Chapel Cemetery under the direction of Capps Memorial Chapel.

Mr. Myers died Friday in Fairfield.

He was born Nov. 18, 1917 in Freestone County to James and Mary Myers.

Mr. Myers was a member of New Life Assembly of God and served in the Army during 
World War II. He was a retired motor grader from Freestone County.

Mr. Myers is survived by his wife, Lura Bess Myers; daughters, Patsy Sleziak of 
Jewett and Sue Flandry of Fairfield; sons, Charles and James Myers, both of 
Fairfield; sisters, Ruby Metzgar and Lilla Chappell, both of Fairfield; 10 
grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Dannie Flandry, David Jones, Jordan Myers, Jason Myers, 
Andrew Myers, Jimmie Harris, Michael Warren and Brad Franklin.

Honorary pallbearer will be Robert Archibald.
